Opening Keynote: Personalising each Patient Interaction at the N of 1
Health and care have become siloed. We used to take the time to listen, observe, understand, and connect with patients. But we’ve since sacrificed value for volume, and traded relationships for revenue. Time constraints now only allow us to focus on the visible. And we’ve forgotten that patients are also people—people whose life and lifestyle are often ‘invisible’ to their provider(s). As a result, we’re missing the 95% of healthcare that happens outside the clinical setting. We’re failing to identify the non-intuitive gaps that impact health. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Life could be actionable. And patients could be partners in achieving meaningful value.

Hear from Bill Bunting as he addresses; approach, findings, lessons learned, innovations, sustainability and next steps.

Case Study: An Innovative Solution for Prosthetic Limbs Using 3D Printing
What do artificial intelligence and prostheses have in common? The software uses artificial intelligence algorithm to customize 3D printable prostheses and orthoses to fit the individual wearers' needs. It allows creating individual supportive devices based on a 3D scan of the limb and does it in minutes rather than hours.
